Witches of East End Season 1 and 2 | Tv Show Review

Source: Imbd
Category: Drama, Fantasy
Runtime: 60 min
Episodes: 13
Creator: Maggie Friedman
Stars: Julia OrmondJenna Dewan TatumRachel Boston |See full cast and crew »
Storyline:

Centers on the adventures of a mother and her two adult daughters, both of whom unknowingly are their family's next generation of witches, who lead seemingly quiet, uneventful modern day lives in Long Island's secluded seaside town of North Hampton. When one of the daughters becomes engaged to a young, wealthy newcomer, a series of events forces her mother to admit to her daughters they are, in fact, powerful and immortal witches. Written by Lifetime

My thoughts:
Season 1 started off with Freya's engagement party, her dream, getting to know all different characters, their relationship with one another and family life. It was pretty nice the whirlwind type of romance. The neverending cycle of red string of fate. The interesting mix of love and revenge.

Season 2 was pretty crazy! I have mix feelings whether or not to trust Frederick (freya's twin) he seems like a shady character and as the story unfolds he reveals that he's there on a mission

Semi Spoiler alert!

the king's spirit vessel is inside Frederick looking for a host.

Wendy who is careless at first with her lifespan is now trying to tread lightly (sort of).Dash became this very shady person like a wolf in sheep's clothing. Killian's always seems to be in danger! and the plot twist in the finale is truly heart and soul wrenching! Darkness is rising!

Oh men I don't really know how to feel about this season so many emotions, twist and turns, ups and downs roller coaster ride. I hope they'd make season 3 this show has so much potential! I love the characters they all started to grow on me.Overall 4.5 out of 5 stars! once I started watching this I can't seem to take my eyes off to the tv and just try to watch/marathon the entire season on netflix haha!

My thoughts:

2.5 out of 5 stars

While reading the story....It's painstakingly long! It dragsss...I don't really see the point of it all especially in the beginning this story makes me want to go to sleep. It's normal and a bit weird so many things I'd like to quote ugh I don't like how the girls voices sounds so annoying! there you go audio book thanks haha! Good way to past time though I wonder how this story will unfold.I like Haruki's descriptive writing style but thy greatness I dunno hmm...

The end of book 2 reminds me of that scene in hannibal with the wealthy guy.

Got a bit confused whether nutmeg's a guy or girl.

I feel like the other stories within this story are such fillers -_-

Mae kasahara's story bout the duck people and rice pudding was so funny and interesting indeed.

I finally get it in the end it makes sense now haha!

Additional thoughts from the future (Oct. 2015) : So I read this book last September and I really didn't thought much about it as I try to enjoy the story as much as I can. I feel like this book is truly very Haruki you know normal days with a twist of weird paranormal twist story within a story some things/people aren't what they seem as you thought they would be kinda thing. I'd like to give it a higher rating him being Haruki and all but I just feel like it's okay I liked a lot of quotes from this book though haha!

My thoughts:

Another great recommendation from my good ol friend I never thought I'd like it this much! some scenes made me cry and laugh so hard some times I want to speed things up especially in solving the mystery of it all as the story line drags ugh -_- I'd still give it....

4.5 out of 5 stars

ok you can round it off to 5 stars hahaha anyway, I love this girl's character  Kim Seul Gi as Shin Soon Ae so bright, cheerful and full of youth!

also love love love this guy Kwak Shi Yang (Seo Joon) so cute!

One of my many favorite scenes is whenever they sing Congratulations! and this karaoke moment so funny :))

I really want him and bong to be together that sort of love triangle crossed my mind. And I never thought I'd like sous chef  he can be really funny or most of the times just plain annoying and he seems like he wants to go out for a drink every night with his coworkers who can't stand him but they're polite enough to go some nights oh such dilemma hahaha

and to sum up some of my feels thanks to drama fever for this awesome video compilation

also hello monster!
DAVE's cameo role! XD
this time his name is Edward something Kang Ki Young (Heo Min Soo) recall him as Alfred something hahaha didn't expect him to be here oh such good fanservice!

What else to say? it's soooooo good!such a great show! that ending though hmm..I thought one character was dead but  is actually alive and then their's this maybe fate thing or like just to push that sort of ending to other characters you know that nice possibility that everything ends well that good feeling so everyone would be ok/fine with it haha. Overall I would still recommend this show a lot! I hope you'd check it out and see for yourself! ^_^
