YSL Savage Escape Inspired look | Late Night Session

What inspired me to do this look was when I saw it on YSL Instagram account and I was like WOW! then I tried to recreate it but mine turned out a bit darker I went with a bronze metallic route versus the golden champagne color which I actually really like and I'm surprised how wearable this look is! this was actually the first time I lined my lower lash and lids to do this inspired look.I'm really glad and grateful to find some colors that quite match the original one so this sort of experiment was really nice!

Memebox I'm eyeshadow palette (lure red edition and night to day)
Nature Republic #4
Jordana Blue Devine
Holika holika black eyeliner/pencil

Evening Skincare Routine!

Note: I got dry to normal skin, dry areas usually on my cheeks and quite acne prone around the jaw line.

I'm currently using two toners to alternate in this video I only used the Secret Key Witch Hazel Pore Clear which I bought at Memebox when they had a sale ($10). I first got curious about witch hazel when a korean tv reporter shared her holy grail items a long time ago...she was using Thayer's Witch hazel that time but anyway I gave the Secret key a shot while reserving my Thayer's for later haha!

The Benton Skincare Line is actually pretty good! I bought it from memebox once again due to their sale ($30 for all of it!) comparing that price to amazon and other websites which sells them in the staggering retail price of $15 each! wow!

So let me explain why I used another "toner" again which is actually called Skin in the benton line. The first one, the witch hazel I use to cleanse while I let the benton do some additional hydration not that the witch hazel is drying or not enough or anything I just want more added moisture.

If you watched my video you'll see I used a lot of products to layer and tap for moisture absorption that's how they do it in korean skincare regimen haha so far I managed to stick with this one for a couple of months now. The benton line is especially good for the winter and spring it's hydrating! especially for my dry skin.

I recently incorporated the Nature Republic aloe soothing gel as a sleeping mask as it gives a nice flawless finish especially the following morning when I wash it all off OMG!

I'm actually almost done with the Benton Steam Cream and so I will switch it up with another cream I haven't decided yet...also I might add another sleeping pack to the mix to alternate with the aloe (that's like my last tub ugh I need to buy more haha)

That's basically it for now.

Thanks for dropping by!

XOXO

Pros:
Floral scent (not overpowering,it's very nice and subtle)

Convenient and travel friendly
Affordable

Cons:

Products I use to prevent and get rid of pimples/acne

Note: I have dry to normal, sensitive skin with a slight tendency of pimples/acne around my jaw area and sometimes on my cheeks and forehead. Dry areas usually on my cheeks.

Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Control 3 in 1 foaming wash

I used 2 bottles of this product way back 2011-2013 I think and it looks like the bottle went through some packaging changes anyway whenever I used this product before it was very effective! dried my pimples overnight and prevented pimples/breakouts stuff like that it has a strong salicylic smell to it and my skin felt dry and tight afterwards.

Anyway after I finished my second bottle of Clean & Clear I decided to discontinue using it to try some other products out there that's more suitable to my needs and that's when I discovered this brand Yardley it's very popular apparently even my mom knows it way back in the day I didn't know til we saw this at the local grocery store Publix,Walmart and Dollar store sells them so yey! it's affordable and lasts for a very long time! I use this on my face and all over my body as well I stock up on this product and store it in my closet and drawers since it has a nice smell things won't smell old haha! What I love about this product is that it has some oatmeal in it which helps dry my pimples/acne and since I got dry skin that tends to itch sometimes this relieves that sort of feeling. It gently exfoliates also has almond in it as well so that's a plus!

I'm also currently using as you might have already seen these products in my How I cleanse my face post.

Missha Citron Cleansing foam (day time)

It has a nice citrus scent, refreshing but it can be a bit tight and drying afterwards.

St. Ives Green tea scrub (night time)

Clears blackheads and calms redness.
Oil-free salicylic acne medication.
100% natural exfoliants.
Sulfate free and paraben free.
Hypoallergenic, dermatologist tested, and non-comedogenic.

Very gentle on the skin, after washing it off with water my skin felt soft and not dry.Great green tea and salicylic scent mix.

This facial brush for me is just an added bonus I bought this one at amazon it's so soft! like bunny soft and affordable too! definitely good to have as it gives my cleansing foam/scrub a boost.

As for my moisturizer I use Nature Republic 92% Aloe Vera Soothing Gel. At first I didn't really like this product since it feels weird on my face like after it dries when I touched my face it would rub off and starts peeling so when that happens and before that happens I exfoliate and I know I should exfoliate haha!

It's really good all year round I especially love it during fall season since that's the first time it finally grew on me It has a cooling effect, clean aloe vera scent, very nice but it does contain some alcohol in it incase you're sensitive to that kind of stuff. What I also love about this product is that you can use it all over your body, face and hair so versatile and affordable!

it looks like this very transparent

So yeah that's basically it for now I hope you find this post helpful and try to give it a shot some time soon..I highly recommend these products and I'm no way sponsored to do this haha! ^_^

Nature Republic Snail Solution Mask Sheet| Skincare Review

The free sample I from my last purchase at Koreadepart looks like this but only contains 2,000ppm

My thoughts:

I love it! The mask fits my face quite well just one fingerbreath gap on my forehead since I have a large forehead haha anyway, I had it on my face for 15 minutes or so.I'm happy and surprised that there's a lot of essence soaked in the mask and essence remainders in the container that I practically put all over my hands, neck, arms and legs it's very hydrating, not sticky at all and it smells really clean, fresh and a bit nature like for me. It soothes my skin real good! I'd like to checkout their snail set line next since I feel like it would really suit my needs. Overall 5 out of 5 stars! Thanks for the sample Koreadepart!
